I was thinking I-spy, but Internet wise that might be to hard for some of you:)

So I thought about what's more fun then trivia or becoming intelligent. Learning, from mistakes, and q/a.

So, the first question that goes up non trivia to start. Is who knows who john titor is? Learn speak, and we shall move onto new topics of intelligence. Try HARD to keep it under a page or two for each smartish type trivia, and/or q/a.

http://www.johntitor.com So go check it. Kinda neet, go deep or, or soft. Impact your cranium with bits of knowledge or a whole of whatever.

Then lets see where if anywhere this type of game can go, in a whole, NOT just one topic, but a WHOLE bunch of fun:) Btw, intelligence is most fun with 9 parts fun, 1 part smart. So smile smile

John Titor is the equivalent if not the inspiration for William Gibson's "footage" in "Pattern Recognition". The idea that one person can start a whole cult of websites and boards to argue and try to make sense so something totally crazy which in some way is very personal but at the same time connects us all. We can all read John Titor posts and either believe them or not, but the fact that one person can achieve so much fame an following without any major media exposure and all through the use of the internet is probably something that will be studied in colleges throughout the country, if that isn't the case already.

On his predictions I do have to say that I could actaully see a civil war coming if some drastic things happen pretty soon. Things such as the reintroduction of the draft, discovery or goverment cover-ups and that 9-11 was not only known before it happened, but also executed by our goverment. Something along those lines. Then the internet could come into play again. Sites such as meet-up.com used to set up discussions or protests, which would be monitored by FBI and voilently broken up, which would lead to more voilence and finally an all-out police state.

During the unrest in the US, all of our enemies would take the chance to go ahead with their plans while the US is distracted. The middle-east conflictt would escalte dramastically and people would start showing their true faces. It is hard to tell what would happen after that, but that is the future as far as I can predict it. I must admit this would have been a lot harder to predict 4 years ago (maybe cause I was only 15).

Anyways, John Titor is a very interesting subject and I will continue to monitor his predictions while I enjoy the last every Olympic games this summer, muhahaha.

smile I go so far to learn about what things would be like if they happen, or if past wise people are right or could be via historical referances of things, and things we've found out today to be true. scientifically I believe in the multiverse, choice, freewill, causality, fate, destiny. All of it rolled up. Choice is what defines, we even choose what or who to be. Evil or good.

I researched lovecraft's works, letters he wrote, locations that seem to be personifications of what he was writing horror on:| I worked out myself where the low ground nukes wouldn't be in effect, by whoever titor was said in a riddle kinda directions as to what the future WWIII nuclear areas would be. Yea..that makes sense lol. Gotta love people always poking their head into your room or life. Makes everything you do choppy.

Either way I'm glad other people find it interesting, and cool. I all get bored, and look deeper. Find answers, that sometimes used to scare ppl. In all kinds of areas of things. Then I get bored again, log it, or store it, digitally or mentally, then move on. Heh, *sigh* I guess that's good.

Next Game. Who are the main contributors to starting the internet? *evil smirk*...do I even want to start this...LOL

Wasn't it the US military?

Me and my friend were talking about this actually. We don't understand what their motives could be, besides getting the rest of the world to know us (maybe want to be like us?).

Arpanet is what your speaking of I think. They did that for government purposes, and many things lead to a commercial then geek, then public use of a growing Internet. But that's not what I meant:) I mean like Da Vinci, he was a human on giant's shoulders. He saw above the clouds no one else could. People like that make dreams.

MANY people made the Internet. But the team of starters from like 50's to 80's I wonder who the REAL starters were:/ See they can embellish or lie about it, and it would be hard to tell. So..look at it like Edison. He had a boy that worked for him that gave him a element to electricity/light bulbs that no one else could think of. Even Edison. Without him, Edison MAY have failed. We could all be light less.

Lights lead to many things:) including the starter LCD's that lead to communication with your computer, monitor, LCD, TV, heh car lights, house lights...A LOT. In short the people that did the main things that built the REAL basic hold for the foundation of the Internet.

I saw a documentary about the creation of the internet. It was done by like 13 engineers in less than 9 months. They invented everything from packetswitching to routers in that period of time. Most of it was done in the Pentagon with some grants that went to universities. I can't remember all the facts but it is kind of sad that nobody knows about these guys (myself included)

I think an engineering group called BBR made it? or some university, anyway they might of made the fundamental protocols however lots more than 13 people have contributed to the creation of the internet. If you want to find out there names Google it. eg History of the internet , ARPANET and so on..

BBN created the packet switched network. and the ARPA worked on it with american universities.

"Mrs. Jones, I'm sorry to inform you, but we've run the tests, and it appears that you have XP. Now don't cry - it's bad, but it's not a death sentence. Modern science has advanced in recent years, and it's now possible to live a reasonably happy life with XP. And there's a survivor's group that you'll want to meet as well."
