I'm taking a WIndows 2000 COmmand Line class, but I am using XP to practice, I notice that some of the commands are not working like the book says they should work in the command line environment. Is there a reason for this? Anyone know?

I'm having trouble with the ATTRIB, TYPE, REDIRECT commands to name a few. As far as it being a win2k using an xp box, I was under the impression the command line environment was pretty much the same.
