UHG! umm okay i fianlly got doom3 and istalled it thinking it will run swwet with my machine...but nooo its all pixle-ie and jagged edges not olny that theres heaps of little white bright dots everywhere flashing, annd when u click optimal seetings for pc it says 800x600? umm ppl i haeva 9800xt and it doesnt set it to ultra only high settings? WTF! what teh hell does doom require to run nicely? asap! :'( im crying :'( i am, and no gizmo i know your gonna say "give me $5000" lol, but the 2 500 sound nice, how much? heh...

Ram: Dual channel 512MB (1GB) 3200 or 3500 Kingston HyperX DDR
CPU: P4 3.02GHz 512K Hyper threading
Monitor: 17" LCD Viewsonic VA720
Fans: dude i have like a billon (Xaser III)


I think there the most important things for gaming arnt they? any help plllzzz :'(

Have you installed the drivers for your video card? It might just be using a stardard vga driver for it, since that is a relatively new peice of hardware I question if windows has built in support.

Also read this:

Basically it supports the arguement that radoen's suck for gaming. I really hate to say it being a radeon user myself, but they are some really crappy cards has far as drivers, software and support by the gaming industry imo.

and did every little thing it said to do, serious. but now im confused im just in windows nothing running and my 9800 runs a cool *cough* 70c :S i think it may die :s

now it kinda works good but i just played it then and it turnt my lcd off, heh :s

Yea, I love the driver set up for Gforce. They even make it a breeze for linux users. One drive for all cards. Shaweeeeeet.

Sorry hyperx, I know this dosen't help you but Gforce seems to usally win out in gaming. Although I heard x-box will be going ATI for the next gen console

w00t it works but it only took up 5GB and still a tad dodgy ...this games a bit scary im gonna stop playing now assuming its 1.30am, home alone in a dark room living with a cat and a dog and weird noise's :s :s :s :S

running a cool 75c uhg.

The forum doens't allow HTML code. Additionally UBBCode doesn't allow for this option.

You CAN however just link to the image..

-OR-
You can save a small image and a large image and link them on the forum... This would act like what you wanted...
