Hello,

As I sit here drinking on my wine I began reflecting a bit. You see I am currently learning php and the curve is different this time.

I have tried learning PHP before. However back then it was to accomplish a task I was told I could do with PHP. So what happened? I learned enough to do what I was trying to do (barely and crudely) and then dropped PHP. I became frustrated and overwhelmed arrays and the basic syntax of it all.

So here I am this time with a similar but different project in mind. The difference this time? This time my project can burn in flames for all I care. I am learning to learn and not learning just to accomplish my project. I am finding subjects I previously found difficult now quite interesting and thus easier to learn.

Well enough rambling and more drinking. I am off to merlot land and on the way ill be visiting pinot noir.

This one time, my doorbell rang, and there was shinobi knee high in a bucket of tofu without any cloths on...

Well Testing (or LoanBanker), at least you have the right mindset... We're going to take and append to the other thread with useful functions to get you started; heck, we may even start a "Useful PHP Functions" thread in the Web Design section...

Think of RedBull as liquid speed you can buy at the 7-11. Personally I stay away from the shit. It seriously fucks me up.

Fuck that, take a few Yellow Jackets (energy pills, best there are; take a handful), drink back a few bawls, and then chug as much vodka as you can... Yeh, you'll be fucked.

BTW, for anyone wondering "where can I get a special thing like Yellow Jackets now adays" well my friend, your good old friend Internet is here to help you... Or you can go to 7-11, ours has them...

Anywhere that has "decent" energy suppliments will have them, just shoot off a google search for '"yellow jacket" energy' and you should find this product:
http://www.bodybuilding-supplements-for-you.com/stacker/yellow-jacket.htm

BTW, this product has Ephedra in it (psudophedrine anyone?) and can be made into meth, so you may have a hard time finding it in some places...
