America Online (AOL) has announced that it will be launching a free online television service next year called In2TV and will feature shows from the US's Warner Bros channel -- both AOL and the WB are owned by Time Warner.

It is unknown whether or not the service will be available to users outside the United States. Initially, the In2TV will be divided by genre into six separate channels. Genres will include drama, animation and comedy.

One analyst said of the announcement, "Here, you have a great example of two sister operations with mutual needs being satisfied by the other. It's a no-lose proposition." Yahoo and Google have also announced Internet TV plans.
