During several announcements made at Intel's twice-annual Developer Forum in San Francisco, it was said that Intel and Cisco will team up to make it easier to connect to wireless and VoIP technologies.

This combination of companies is trying to, "create an out-of-box experience that is secure and easy to use on both [home and enterprise] environments". Giancario, Cisco's chief development officer, also said, "Voice over IP on WiFi is really, really tricky."

It's hard to connect wireless and VoIP? Comeon man, Girlie setup her own wireless... Granted it's insecure but still...

I don't see VoIP over WIFI that hard either, just grab yourself two routers, bust out a 3rd party firmware like Sveasoft on there and make you a wee little mesh, then install the VoIP AP as you would anything else; the only "tricky" part would be port forwarding and Girlie can do that one too
