Many Congressman were surprised when tech experts taught them that file sharing programs such as Kazaa can be used to download pornography. Many are concerned that children and government employees use these methods.

This means that children can bypass web filters such as Net Nanny or Cyber Patrol and still get porno pictures off of file sharing programs. Filters like these programs do not work with file sharing programs.

Tom Davis, Republican chair of the House Reform Committee, says "This is really very alarming to me as a parent who thought he was tech savvy on this kind of thing to see how far this has gone."
