Gary Zimet, a curator in New York for the internet auction site momentsintime.com, is selling a tape of the Beatles he says was recorded in 1976. The claim is that the Beatles tried to reunite but fell apart because of arguments.

Producer George Martin is said to have been present for the session which yielded five tracks: Happy Feeling, Back Home, Rockin' Once Again, People Of The Third World and Little Girl. The Beatles allegedly bulk erased all copies except for this tape.

Zimet says the tape was kept in a vault in the Beatles' Abbey Road studio. He says studio engineers and the co-owner of the studio remember this recording session. Spokespeople for George Martin and Paul McCartney say they are unaware of this event.
