When Google users type "miserable failure" in Google's search bar and press "I'm feeling lucky," a biography of President Bush comes up. Many were startled when this happened and now the pranksters have revealed how they did this.

The technique is called Google bombing. The pranksters posted the phrase "miserable failure" on web sites with direct links to Bush's biography. This tricks Google's search engine into making the direct link. In this case bloggers did the prank.

Don Waller, an avid blogger and owner of a web design company, says "I thought it was absolutely one of the funniest ideas I've ever heard. I just decided to jump in with it." So far neither the White House nor Google have commented on this.
