Intel is developing a software program that will allow people to move from computer to computer such that every computer will be just like your computer. They call this new technology internet suspend/resume.
In essence, you will be able to "suspend" your computer or desktop now, and "resume" it somewhere else. The idea is that everything will open up and react exactly the same as if you were on your own computer, only you're somewhere else.
They hope this will get rid of laptops and allow people to go to work anywhere there is a computer, as well as allow people to switch computers when one breaks without missing a beat.
