Well, I'm curious what those who have seen #3 think... What are the upsides of this movie? What are the downsides? Is there something we should look forward to if we haven't seen it?

Also, do you think this movie ended in hopes for another game? Another Animatrix perhaps?

Lets go through a rundown of the matrix storyline:

1. Animatrix (select parts)
2. Matrix
3. Final Flight of the Osirus and Animatrix (Select Parts)
4. Matrix Video Game
5. Reloaded
6. Revolutions
7. ...

Matrix 3 ended up being a dissapointment..i give it thumbs down..but, what else would you expect to happen for the matrix movies to end..

a matrix revolutions game would not be very good in my idea..and the movie focuses too much on the trinity/neo love story, and it just wasnt very good in my opinion, many other things could have happened to make it better.
so yea those are my two cents [thumb] down [alien]

Dude, the movie was incredible. The trilogy is the greatest set of films in movie history, surpassing even the Godfather (only parts 1 and 2) in my opinion.

i think the movie was pretty good.
upside: the action. that dock scene was incredible. the chase scene through the tunnel was cool too. and the club scene. and like the other movies, it still makes you think...you just have to be able to read between the lines, otherwise the movie just seems corny.

downside: the script. it seemed way to overly dramatic and over-acted. i suppose this could be either the script or the actors or both. i mean, i can see that in this movie, it's the most tense any of these characters will be...but some parts were almost funny in how they portrayed it.//

one Q...

in the end of rev'ns ... the oracle, the architect and the lil girl are all in the same 'world' ...and the oracle asks the girl if she did the sun thing..and shes says 'yes' !!

so does this mean...

that all the programs are now in the 'matrix' ,coz oracle is,the girl is the programs daughter..and the architect says he isnt human !!

"how will i know?"
"youi will kno"
its just crap, the war bit was cool though. but i feel matrix should have stoped at matrix 1

I can't really talk, since I haven't seen the third movie yet but...
Everyone who complains because the 2nd/3rd Matrix has too much dialogue for them can fuck off. It's a movie not some sort of special FX show. The Wachowskis put so much effort into that script to make everything in all three movies cohesive, it's simply incredible. Don't hate just because you don't wanna take the time to notice/comprehend.

The movie is great. There is only one thing that's exagurated and that's that the powers of the chosen one reach in the real world as well. Furthermore it is an excellent movie. I don't get why people call it a bad movie. Is it cause it isn't the easiest movie to follow (you have to use your brains to follow the conversations) or is it the open ending? You really don't know what happend to Neo and what the thing was they changed in the matrix. But ah well, I guess it's just your taste.
But for me thumbs up

Think of it like this... The matrix is based off of the human world, therefore one has to wounder how many there actually are... who knows, they can still be inside the original matrix, the matrix within the matrix... therefore he could have any powers he wants lol...

It was better than reloaded. The ending was somewhat of a disappointment. All in all, not too too bad.

revolutions was so fucking corny, that whole, neo going blind thing, then the love shit, what happened to all the guns an fighting?!?! there was what...ONE fight? an it was retarded, stop with the flying shit, i go enough of that when i used to watch super man movies back when i was 7, to me, revolutions shited on all my love of the matrix. but the matrix online sounds like its gonna be bad ass, that might just be me speaking tho*Shrugs*

an one last thing, the trainman sucked, why a homeless guy? is there some kind of irony in the fact that a homeless guy owns the only other dimension between the matrix and reality? well, if it isnt reality then it HAS to still be the matrix, sence its programmed THRU The matrix, *Shakes head in disapointment at the whisksowzi brothers, or what ever teh fuck teher name is...*

Your right Rewbix, it did not hold up its end of the Matrix series. It was still better than reloaded, which was what I was looking for.

well, acording to reloaded there have been like 7 matrixes so far. there have bene seven "ones" and they all killed the old matrix and booted up another one. so neo just restarted the whole fuckin cycle in revolutions.
am i rite?

this is something that i just heard in passing. but i heard that the end of the 1st matrix, where he's on the phone, could actually be considered the end of the 3rd. where neo is dead in the real world, but alive in the matrix. somethign about the date on the trace at the end. also, i heard that they did it that way (leave it open) so they could ahve the Matrix Online...as a massively multiplayer online rpg. i dunno if it's true, but it's what i heard.//

I'd just like to say that the Bible references were, to me, a little played out towards the end of Revolutions. I also think that the third movie was comprised of about 90% computer generated fighting not involving Keanu Reeves whatsoever, just Zion. Reeves' part in the third movie was minute at best, and his main goal was to fight Smith for virtually no real purpose (there was a purpose for confronting him but the battle wasn't actually necessary) at which point he wasn't even really acting, it was all computer-animated. I think there probably will be a game, because there always is even if a movie bombs in the theaters (which this won't just because it's the third in a trilogy and people will want to see how it ends).

Take for example the movie "Reign of Fire". It got horrible reviews, was in theaters by me for maybe...MAYBE a month. I'm not even sure it got a star (by NYC critics). I went to see it anyway with friends and we all thought they were right not to give it a good review (not to offend anyone who liked it, just wasn't for us...and a large amount of other movie-goers). Nevertheless a few weeks later I find out Xbox is making a game for it. Just one example of how for every movie that's made, good or bad, there can be at least one game (also good or bad) made for the movie.

Matrix 3...I don't want to say it was bad because I did like it, but it was very differnt from the rest and not what i expected. Although the mech scene in the docking bay was cool. So Can I give it 1 up and 1 down?

at broadcast depth...

yar 7...=tmo http://www.thematrixonline.com

tmo=mmorpg all in the jack in sense, no real world, trading skills like cards, bullet time like The xbox game(played that last night(at my bros in NYC) it owns). The phone call I won't say anything about. But zionists+machines in tmo no ai forms. The director of another mmorpg is running it. Imo thumbs up on Revolutions. Listening to Tarawa now.
Revolutions is just like the word http://www.dictionary.com

Everything that has a end has a begining....everything that has a begining has an end, and a new begining. I'm glad I signed up to beta test tmo way back. I'll be happy to be a part of it. Also um for those of you that stayed after the first movie. whatisthematrix.com password:steak incase you missed that heh. It's after the credits, and if your smart you should be able to access it.

end transmittion....
