Your Moms Bed
Ok sorry if this subject is annoying anyone and if the length is to long don't be mad please but i wondering if this is possible?
Ok i have a Western Digital Caviar 22100 hardrive its a 4092 Cylinder, 16 heads, 63 spt, and it says it has 2111.8 Mb. and its not the one I'm running currently and it runs Windows 95. I'm trying to format that and run a new operating system (Linux Slackware) so i figure i half to make boot disks but I'm not sure I'm new to this. ok heres like a table might clear it up.
1.download the files needed boot/install linux off the net and copy them to 3 1/2 floppies with current hard drive.
2.Format non current hardrive (The western digital.)
3.Use 3 1/2" floppies to boot and install Linux Slackware on The non current hardrive.
but the problem is i don't have Linux slackware is it possible to get the files needed off the net and them copy them onto floppies and use them in that way? If not how could i do this as i said I'm new at this and I'm cluless so if any one could clear this up for me Thanks. and sorry again if this is so confusing.
