New York spammer Anthony Greco was sentenced yesterday in a closed session after he was charged in relation to sending some 9 million spam advertisement through online instant messages on MySpace.com.
The sentence is also under seal, at the defence attorney's request, though it was reported previously that Greco had agreed to plead guilty if he was sentenced to just 18 months to two years.
Federal prosecutors will request that the court make Greco's sentence available to the public today.
