Bombardier Recreational Products has released a video of a Segway-like device which can hit speeds of 35mph and utilizes electronic and hydrogen-fuel-cell technology for it to work. Like the Segway, gyroscopes help the person keep balance.

The name for this transporter is called the Embrio and it also has extra wheels similar to the landing gear on jet planes. However, unlike the Segway which weighs 35 pounds, Embrios would weigh 360 pounds which would make them difficult to lift.

So far, Segway has little reason to worry since this product only exists in video form and Bombardier has no plans for a release date of a physical product. Bombardier says it sees a big demand for such transporters which it sees as common by 2025.
