Officials with Hallmark Data Systems, 7300 Linder Ave., told police May 18 that sometime between April 29 and May 16 someone hacked into their computer Web site, writing a computer program that let them scroll through credit card numbers of magazine subscribers. They said 28 credit cards were compromised. However, the hackers weren't able to access names, addresses, Social Security numbers, or card expiration dates. The company has contacted the Federal Trade Commission.
