A system administrator installed WinSpy on his boss' computer to show that he did little more than play 'Solitaire' all day.

The supervisor received a very weak warning - despite spending 70% of his time playing; he was told that his productivity and work ethic were "beyond reproach" but he needed not "compromise their ability to manage subordinates".

The system administrator was fired and could face legal action based on the use of the spyware; which can obtain considerable information about a computer user's activity.
