SSH is basically a encryption secured telnet. It is used for remote consoles and other reasons that you find telnet frequently used.
so i can just use telnet to open it right, no more complicated than that, or anything more i should know
You need a special client which does the encryption. Your telnet client only sends out plain text. Check out PuTTY: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
cool ill have to check that out
I myself prefer SecureCRT, but it's not freeware
