i am very new at this and don't have much time avail. to try things out. i would like to try something very simple. how would i open a password to my cpu login if i have forgotten it?

cyber junkie, if you forget passwords to all accounts in win2k your [censored]. No getting in unless you format your hard drive or reinstall windows.

You are wrong Ghost. You can overwrite the win2k password in no longer than the time it takes to write out the new password once you've booted into DOS. (ERD Commander)

Also you can crack the password file with a bit more patience. (l0phtcrack)

Check the IP's, they are not the same person.

One said they had a compaq, the other said they had a gateway... Where's the similarity here besides two clueless individuals.
