Morning

Is it possible to read an XBox disc on a PC?

When you try to do it, you simply get a Video file telling you to put the disc in an XBox.

I believe the X uses a different file system, and I read some where that the disc spins backwards !!

Anyone know??

Should be possible since the Xbox disc is a DVD disk, and by the way the gamecube disk is the one that spins backwards.

I tried it just to see what would happen. I got a directory, and inside it were video files. Right click on the drive and select explore instead of play.

Wonder if you have a DVD-Burner if you could copy the game?

Yes you can play video files off of Xbox games on your PC, you'll have to use an xbox emulator.

Current Xbox emulators are a very far away from being able to emulate a game to a point where its playable, however they're more than capable of playing xbox game video files and other media,
