I have ordered an autodialer that will run a 4 line dialogic card. I am trying to avoid the costs of dropping 4 additional lines into my home.

Any suggestions?

Only use one line? PBX? VOIP?
Posted By: Testing Re: Autodialer question - 07/12/07 03:17 PM
Since this is ran out of my home a PBX is not practical. However VOIP may be. I am not very knowlegable in this area. I guess I should call a VOIP provider and start there.

considering you can get "additional lines" for just a couple bucks more; it's an easy solution...

Well I signed up for VOIP. autodialers are against just about every single VIOP providers user agreements. However I could care less. I will use it till they shut me down. I'll report how long that takes smile

Could be an interestng project there in itself; how long DOES it take to get raped by your VOIP provider for violating their AUP for utilizing an autodialer...

curious, who'd you end up going with? And how many lines/

vonage 4 lines.

I am betting I can dial for a week before they shut me down. We will see. LOL As I stated I will of course post all results. Hey if it turns into a closed loan of 2 before they shut me down then sweet!

shoulda asked, i coulda got 4 free months for a referral lol...

I have yet to receive the equipment. Is it too late to get you the referral for the free months? I would lie if needed ... just lemme know. LOL

The dialer is being shipped as we speak, arrival is expected on the 20th.

The user agreement clearly states no autodialers. However I hear others are doing it and not getting shut down. Ill let ya know. LOL

Lol I'll PM you my information and you can call in; it'd be like a donation of sorts to get a credit for a referral lol...

What model Dialer are you aiming for? Quite interested.

I doubt they care, they probably just put that there for legality purposes...

Im using an Autoreaper Express. http://autoreaper.com/auapr1.html

I will be upgrading to the T1 as soon as I can afford it.

A full/unsaturated T1 would be nice; though speeds comparable to a standard residential cable line...

Im considering a T1 for voice not internet. From what i understand it gives me 23 digital lines to dial from. I am moving forward with the T1, the loop charges are like 150 month! I guess im pretty close so I got lucky. They take like 45 days to install so Im in the process of the paperwork now.

I guess its comming from qwest. Amazing they are going to install a circut at my house.

Haha, now that's just fun in itself... Planning to document them installing a T1 and lines to your house? I'd be there with my digicam in one hand, and my cameracorder in the other lol
