I'm using Parallels Desktop to install and boot Linux on my Mac. It worked fine for Windows and says it supports Fedora Core (which is what I'm using). However, when booting up, an error occurred saying that I couldn't start a guest OS in PAE mode.

After googling the subject, I entered a memory change command in order to limit the amount of virtual memory it was using (mem=[x]M). But it said it didn't support guest OS's using PAE at all.

Can anyone tell me how to change my booting mode from PAE to something else from Linux's pre-boot menu?

I've figured it out. Unfortunately, after far too many blogs and articles, I've discovered this problem can only be fixed by reinstalling completely, and not selecting virtual environments on the software addition section.

Problem was, even though I have a intel processor, Parallels Desktop doesn't yet support PAE (under most circumstances).
