If you planned on programming as a career... what kind is most needed? c++, vb, .....

C++ training, VB if you intend windows or cross platform programming...

Linux and MySQL is a plus, A+ would be good for windows but would cost more...

If you wanted to get into router programming then get a CCNA and Server+ certification, their two of the best for routers, my cusin helped write the Server II Exam...

both VC++ and VB is hot. COM Programming is highly sought after. No, I don't want to tell you what COM programming is - go look it up.

What kind of companys would need programin with C and C++?
Posted By: SilentRage Re: career in programming - 07/31/02 04:08 PM
all companies which use software and need programmers to custom build applications/font-back ends. There's no standard which says which prefer C or some prefer VB.
