Review:
I've had one of these laptop's for about 2 years now... I decided to put the pro's and con's down on paper finally...

Pro: Great fast support.
Con: They outsource to a company who's people speak hindu, so unless you have 2 hours to wait don't bother calling in.

Pro: Fast handle time with repairs.
Con: Every so often it can take 2 months, see above pro/con for finding where your hardware is...

I love this computer, don't get me wrong with the support size, I have my resolution on this monitor set to the higest possible with this graphics card and it's still picture clear...

One thing that I've definately found pointless is the cheap scissor hinge that comes standard with the computer for the keyboard. I've had to ship it in twice for repairs just for one of the keys snapping off. Once they come off and the little piece of plastic comes undone you're pretty much screwed, but I guess that's good for them since they just get more cash!

I spent $1700 for this laptop, wasn't that much for me at the time, I'm still extremely satisifed with the purchase, the laptop runs great, the only downside is their support.

Update, I had a terrible experiance with dell "misplacing" my machine for about a month. When i called in it seems that all of their support is now in india, as in you can't hear a thing their [censored] saying... Don't buy dell, buy compaq.

Don't buy dell, don't buy gateway, don't buy compaq, either build it yourself or buy "TechiePlus PC" from me.

Yeah, but as of now I am still using my 450Mhz puter. So until I get a new one. I was told I would be getting some 1GHz in (good enough for the gaming server), but don't think that will happen.

Then I decided to put more money into business and go back to school while paying old school loans and buy a new car. Money goes quick every month.
