anyone try this yet?

I have writen a script to support jpg and png codecs. But to do transparencys....

I have read many bits on this to include php.net. it seems there are a million ways to do it. I am curious to see if any of you have and what worked and didn't work?

I haven't had the chance; you may want to look at gallery and steal their bits; they do an interesting job and you can test it on our very own install
