i currently use aol and they suspended the account becuase i had sent an innapropriate email but how would they know this without reading the mail I was sending.

Users can report mail; so if you sent an inappropriate message and someone sent a report to AOL they can terminate your account

Use PGP encrytion if ur worried people are spying on u smile

It's actually standard with most ISP's, it falls under a ToS violation for harassment/spam wink

Ya but comon, 1 e-mail ? If thats the case, i think its ridiculus, there should be some sort of warning first.

But i guess ur right, if he did it before, guess they had a right to deactivate his account.

It's defined in your ToS agreement with any ISP; if they find you in violation it's to their discression weather or not you still hold your account heh... Mainly depends on the severity of the issues at hand

the email was actually to someone who was spamming me so i sent them a little message
