George CARLIN said it best about Martha Stewart "Boy, I feel a lot safer
now that she's behind bars. O.J. Simpson and Kobe Bryant are still walking
around; Osama Bin Laden too. But they take the one woman in America willing
to cook, clean, and work in the yard, and haul her hind end off to jail."

pissed

Well im sure they would do the same to osama bin laden if they found him. And I didnt think O.J simpson was guilty. I dont know who Kobe Bryant is.

I think we need to treat the laws we have in our modern socities more like the case by case studies we have in Medicine. Instead of applying them so every situation equally. This may sound bad but the way I see it, is that doing it the current way is just a slower way of the same thing. Cause its in these more difficult cases that we then realise that "oh wait we should pass a new law for that just incase the scenario is the same".
I hope this makes sense to people other then just me.

nothing mate.
i just value ur opinion on these topics.

Posted By: IceMyst Re: Sad state of the country - 08/16/05 10:38 AM
she's one of the ONLY rich people to actually be found guilty on something. The justice system tried to make an example of her by saying "You can get in trouble and money can not always buy you a not guilty verdict"
Posted By: EndGame Re: Sad state of the country - 08/16/05 10:44 AM
yea, lucky for OJ he was innocent tho.
money didnt help him wink

You are all missing the damn point.

Okay, every person who ever went to jail.... Forget them. Just put them out of your mind for a [censored] minute.

This woman became famous because she could cook, clean, make pretty foo foo stuff, and basically take real good care of a house. Do you realise how rare that is now? Do you realise how many women might have looked to her as an idle? They locked her up? Really, lock up the lady who could take us back to the 50's in domestic relations?

Jesus [censored] christ I am going to be sick.
Posted By: IceMyst Re: Sad state of the country - 08/17/05 01:10 AM
hey who better to make an example of then? the women who could domesticate the rest of us women who want to have carrers and make dad stay at home with the kids...
