good, other people that play

I'm still trying to figure out what kind of cradle is on my gun...bought it used (only 3 cases of paint run though it) but there's not a scratch, and it dropped the price a bit.

It's a nice cradle, really keeps the gun compact which is good for me, since I'm a front player, but it's starting to bother me that I don't know who makes it!

usually youd think the brand name would be on it....
Posted By: thebluegiant Re: My new Gun - 07/09/02 11:30 PM
I'm poor and borrow a friend's gun whenever I play. Usually an extra Stingray from wal-mart.

good ole wal-mart, i cant beileve the amount of money you can invest in gun and paintball in general if you want to, first, theres your gun ((ranging from usually 75-600 bux)) than your hoppers which could be free with your gun, or more advanced ones, than theres the mask, cheap ole ones that fog up, upgraded lenses that wont fog so much, thermal lenses....and than if you really wanna go all out, theres these masks now that have little fans inside them that blow air onto the lense inside the mask so it dont fog...............((i think there around 200)) than theres your c02 tank ((9 oz 12 oz 20 oz 30 oz))....hmm what else, o yess the barrel upgrades for the guns ((cheap usually around 70 or more))....gel handle grips((27))....bah tons of [censored], damn it someone give me a donation so i can upgrade and really kick [censored]((o ya theres grenade launchers too...tight as hell))

Yeah, normally you would. It looks a lot like the kapp cradles, but they engrave their name on ALL of their stuff.

Yeah, don't forget nitro tanks for your higher end guns...I'm looking at one that's about $550

and with the range of gun prices...if you want a higher end one you're looking at about $250 - $2,000 mine was only $850 and I'd rather have it than those guns that run about %2000

What fun are those...most people look down on you using those on other people
Posted By: Scallion Re: My new Gun - 07/22/02 07:51 PM
Nyeh, people can look down on me all they want, but if you're walking around in a ghetto at 12 at nite, somehow, you just feel more comfortable that the "brothas" wont feel the need to extract a toll from yonder white boy.
Posted By: Imperial Re: My new Gun - 07/22/02 09:53 PM
lmfao....see I was always into non-lethal forms of self defence...extendable batons, brass knuckles, even a knife/dagger but that's pushing it
Posted By: Gremelin Re: My new Gun - 07/22/02 10:16 PM
I prefer Katanas, Double Edged Katanas, Broadswords, etc hehe...

2 years ago I had the following gun which I purchased in Mallorca / Spain for about 15 bucks and a pen knife.

Its got nothing to do with paintballing and of course it aint lethal either in case u wonder, hehe yeah right! <img border="0" alt="[Machine]" title="" src="graemlins/machine.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Sheep]" title="" src="graemlins/sheep.gif" />

Posted By: unreal Re: My new Gun - 08/02/02 06:25 AM
I prefer real guns. smirk
Posted By: psychogen Re: My new Gun - 08/07/02 03:51 PM
bah BackSlash go real its much more fun and the feeling is alot better.

That thrust runs all through your body when shooting a gun its amazing. By the way I am not saying that shooting living things is fun I am meerly saying that the power of shooting a real gun and the sound is so much more exiting than anything less than lethal!

And allthough it is a feeling of godlyness to hold a gun infront of someone or just to have it and they dont, its not a good practical joke nor is it fun to have a gun pointed at you (loaded or not). In fact its [censored] frightening.

One main reason why I got rid of mine is cause I had one incident where a friend of mine thought it was funny to hold up the gun to some other guys head just to see the reaction, little did he know that it was loaded without the safty clip on.
And he thought it was a BB gun, well BB or not its still [censored] dangerous to pull the trigger on someones head no matter whats in it.

No noone got killed or hurt but he surely got the shock of his lifetime when he "jokingly" decided to pull the trigger in my back yard (he was aiming at a cat about 15 yards away from where he hit) and the gun shot off since he was unprepared for the blow back of the guns force he landed on his [censored] and the gun fell down right infront of him between his legs, luckily it didnt go off. Otherwise his family tree would not have grown too fast.

Well I guess in the UK they are less educated about weaponry as such, since it happened when I was living there.

Ohh and never have a loaded gun lying in the house when u have a party where people are getting stoned.

Well I hope u get the point.

ok i know this topic got kinda old and sorry for bringing it to the top but i got to thinking about what psyc just said, the thrill of fireing a real gun. true, its amazeing, but something like paintball is amazeing too, your actually trying to survive, i remember as a kid playing war with fake rifles in the back yards of my old neighborhood. it was fun, but than again, fake invisible bullets wizzing through the air, i got into hunting with a 12 gauge and i find it enjoyable. i have recently gotten into paintball and i found it to be just as much of a rush as fireing a real gun ((i hunt with a 12 gauge and have fired a muzzle loader as well)), even more of a rush because your actually shooting at something thats shooting at you, and as long as your not a dumbshit about it, its perfectly safe!. so, why risk the chances of haveing a real gun when you can go out and play paintball, ((as long as everyone has masks)) and shoot the hell outa eachother.
