Im getting my drivers license in less than a week. Anyone know tips to make my isurance as cheap as possible?
Don't get a sports car, and there may be programs that insuarnce companies offer, and if you complete they'll lower your rates...
I have a truck
. I heard if you have lighter color paint... a fire extinguisher... and a bunch of other safty devices will help... but I dunno if its true
yes, a fire extinguisher will lower the price, also if its not red/black/white you'll get lower prices. Also if you're on your parents insurance it'll be slightly cheaper, and if you do a "drivers education" class it'll chop off about half of your price.
if you suck off the insurance guy it helps. maybe. probably not nevermind.
Well, it worked for CS...
im probably going with yellow. does the size of the engine matter?
I donno about yellow... becides, most cars look like [censored] yellow... except a hummer or a jeep lol...
I don't believe the size of engine matters...
The size of the engine shouldn't matter directly, but if you have a car with a bored-out 454 that makes it go 0-60 in 2.9, your insurance will probably go up.
i sure dont have a 454 (tho i wish). I have a 350 small block chevy. My truck is a 4x4 (85 toyota)... i think it would look good yellow with the roll bars and big lights on top, black racing stripes, etc.
here's what I do for cheap insurance. Refuse to pay it until you're 25. I've probably saved myself thousands of dollars.
well this is way off topic well kinda.. but how long are the pink slips valid for?
