Hyperx is a girl? I never knew this... Unless they have guys in Australia named Ashley...

I'd be semi interested except for the lack of cash <snicker> Not bad of a system, I could build for around $700 USD.

Why would you have Kingston HyperX PC3500 DDR in a motherboard which only supports up to PC3200?
Where are you located? If you need a price on a laptop contact me.

res, DDR ram can be clocked back, so in essance youc an put more expensive ram in it and have it clocked back to what your motherboard supports.

The reason for doing this is because the speed they're certified at is larger thus less chance to burn it out; plus you have it on hand should you need the speed of ram that is in th emachine; plus some places give discounts when you purchase in bulk.

Although I do agree it is a waste wink

Yes, I reliease it may be altered to 400MHz as the motherboards maximum support.
Thier is a less chance of the module "burning out" but that in itself is a rare occurance. The discount on that ram would not be much as thier is lower prices for other brands and a higher demand for only the PC3200 modules. But it is "it is a waste".
