Israeli troops have been issued with tiny video screens worn on the wrist which show images in real time from a drone unmanned aircraft. The system, which was top secret, was shown to reporters this week for the first time.

The device allows for suspects to be identified in a matter of seconds as opposed to minutes. Israel has discontinued the practice of targeted killings however resumption to this practice may come in light of recent suicide bombers.

The screen has been code named V-Rambo and is currently been issued to a number of footsoldiers for testing. Israel has used drone aircraft since the 1980s however this is the first time that ground troops have access to the images in real time.
