Im running windows 2000 pro and Im used to the old "winipcfg" on win9x systems. Is there any similar way in win2k that i can do this?
go DOS. ipconfig works on all windows operating systems.
ipconfig /all
do that to see all information
ipconfig | more
do that to see the data 1 page at a time.
ipconfig > C:\ipdata.txt
do that to dump the results to the file
There, now ditch winipcfg and take note of the tricks above. It makes it convenient.
I like that even better than Winipcfg, thanks.
