I read this article on astalavista.com, it was something about Microsoft adding a new "feature" to the upcoming SP1 for XP. It stupposed to make people with a pirated version of XP not work or something, but I was wondering, does this also affect RTM builds of XP? just wondering, lets just say a "friend" has a pirated RTM version of windows. wink

accept it is being killed by Micro$oft. That means if a new vunerability is found you are S.O.L.

Microsoft is really getting obsessed with windows xp, they act as though its a good operating system, i run xp on this machine now(legal xp) and i have had to fix more problems on the damn thing then ever before, im thinking of going back to 98 geez...my point your "friend" wont be missing out on much
