A trademark infringement lawsuit between Microsoft and Lindows is set to go to trial in April, after a federal judge refused Lindows' motion to throw out the case.

Microsoft says the company, which is offering a Windows-like version of open source OS Linux, is trying to mislead customers by using a name so close to Windows. Although they asked that Lindows be shut down pending trial, the judge refused - twice.

Now a jury must rule whether Microsoft has trademark rights on a word as generic as 'Windows'.

Thats quite jewish if you ask me. Their pissed off because the linux community is branching out. As bill used to say "Linux will pass, its just a plague for now" yet he hires linus torvolds to go to seattle and do some consulting... Funny that sounds like MS was trying to make their own lindows, funny that someone got there before them...

Their going to bring up that their using tecnologies that are making it so users can use windows products on non windows machines, which is showing their anally monopolising ways.

Then their going to sit and [censored], then Lindows is going to win, until bill slips that 30mil in the jury's pockets...
