Mridul Seth, an eight year old boy from Bangalore, India, who only learned to speak four years ago because of a severe hearing disability, has become the worlds youngest Microsoft certified software engineer.

His father said "Mridul was born without an external ear and his hearing ability is still weak. He learnt to speak late and was almost perennially sick when younger."

The boy has an aptitude for maths, having learned to count from 1 to 100 within one day. This year he progressed onto passing the installing, configuring and administering Microsoft 2000 Professional exams in his hometown.
