Unfortuntly there are way to many Freqs, If you get lucky, then you might stumble across one but doubt it.................

not on the 2ghz spectrum, you can do older phones however... (2ghz tend to shift every 5-10 seconds plus can be encrypted, where as some 900mhz are encrypted and do shift, but their easier to find).

The frequencies for those are:

note that all freq's listed are for older phones only!

Yeah you would have to have a pretty intense scanner to pick up the convo, and it's almost impossible to get the patern of switching the fone uses because you can't get all the numbers and like you all know it may have an encryption...
cellphones are do-able you can even reprogram them so you seem like the owner
Posted By: Gremelin Re: Playing with cordless phones - 09/02/03 08:40 PM
not really, older radio shack police scanners pick them up just fine (older freq's) I can sit here and listen to my neighbors on the phone anytime here, just i live in a mexiplex and i don't know much spanish lol...
Posted By: paradox Re: Playing with cordless phones - 09/03/03 04:38 AM
Yeah i don't you can pick them up, i pick them up all the time but the channel always changes on the phone i uses so i may have my fone for 10-20 seconds then it jumps off and you would have to have the scanner constatly scanning a range because not all phones follow a standard was the point i was making wink and yeah wtf is spannish?

Hey, that actually could explain something. Could the frequency shifting be responsible for your own phone conversation being interfered with by another (accidentally) ?
Posted By: Gremelin Re: Playing with cordless phones - 09/07/03 05:13 AM
theoretically yes, but it'd be quite uncommon
Posted By: HighLander Re: Playing with cordless phones - 09/08/03 09:12 AM
When freq shifting on a phone, you change feqs every 7 or so secs so for another phone to have the exact same shifting pattern is something like

1 in 1 Billion, roughly (Not exactly)

but a portion of the shift is the same, it would possibly account for a few seconds of interferrence

well, it happened to me....so poo
Posted By: HighLander Re: Playing with cordless phones - 09/09/03 12:40 PM
It could be just a problem with the wiring though, from the reciever to the the junction box, anywhere there you could be picking up the faint parts of another signal

i think it's fair for me to say yes you can. u see what i have is a 100 channel direct entry programmable scanner and every night befor i go to sleep i sit down and listen to people on their cordles phones talking, pizza delivery people on their radios, except for cops because they switched from digital to analog
