I'm tryin' to get call of duty to let me use any weapon at the begining. I know U can do it in other games like rainbow six
changing a file:
C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\Rogue Spear\data\kit\Primary.itm

how can U do this in other games

look through the configuration files in the games / directory and modify them. I know in never winter nights you could change a lot of stuff including some registration info, incase you were banned you could just go change it and get back onto peoples servers.

Umm i dont think it is possible because it is most likely programmed into the game, however you could try renaming the gun model file names that might make the game load the gun u want.

Why don't you just use the normal cheats, to get all the items ?

- Right click on the Call of Duty Single Player shortcut and select "Properties"

- In the "Target" field enter(w/o quotes) "+set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0" ( i.e. "C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDSP.exe" +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0)

- Start up COD, press the tilde key (~) to enter console.

- Enter the below cheats for desired effect.

Call of Duty Cheat Codes:

god - Invulnerability
give "object name" - "object name" is some object in game such as BAR
give all - give all items
give ammo - maximum ammunition
give health - fully heals
g_gameSkill - Sets game skill level
jumptonode - Jumps to specific part of map
kill - kill self
notarget - Enemies will not shoot you
noclip - walk through walls
timescale X - Alters speed of game, X is a multiplier
ufo - fly
