ya, that is a good site, thats where i learned, also, check out there javascript tutorials among other things.

A link to the good ole w3! l33t site.
I've always prefered to go straight to the source whenever I want to learn anything.
Other than that, a good site that goes over cross-browser webdesign/issues is also a smart choice to visit.
I can't remember where I used to visit. It was so sweet, you'd see all the objects and properties that goes along with every version of IE and NN as well as the HTML tags and properties.
