i was aware tht members are able to edit their posts and was recently informed by giz that the editing period lasts for 30minutes.

i, however, have the problem where im locked out of editing my posts in as little as 15-20minutes.
sometimes almost immediately as well.

is anyone else having this problem as well?

If edited within 15 minutes you won't see the "edited by" notice.

After 30 minutes you won't be able to edit the post at all.

This should take the time from the server based on when the post was made, it shouldn't depend on any cookie data so I'm unsure if/how there would be an issue with editing.

i think its plain to see that i should still be within the 30 minute limit
