Ok, so today my mom decided to pick a fight with me about what has to be the stupidest thing ever. Toilet Paper. Yes, that's right..what you wipe your ass with. So here is the fight...When I replace a roll of toilet paper I put it so it comes out of the top (aka over) and she puts it so it comes out the bottom against the wall (aka under). Apparently she has a big problem with the fact that I don't do it the same way as her. So, this leads me to say "Does it REALLY matter that much? It's still useable is it not?" I have googled without much luck, so I have decided to turn to you fine folks and ask, is there really a right way? How do *you* replace the toilet paper on the dispenser? (dun dun dun)

ehhh i just put it on and thats it lol.. sometimes its under and sometimes its over

Easy answer; over...

Reasoning: Putting it under takes the germs on the wall and puts it on the paper...
Proof: Buy a roll of TP with the colored designs on it; if you don't put it over you won't see your designs...

Man, when i go to peoples house and I see it under, I have to "fix" it lol... It drives me mad.. It's not that it's an obsession or anything but the toilet area holds the most germs in the bathroom, wtf do i want to be wiping myself with paper that's scraping against your dirty assed walls? lol...

Has to be over. I do the same thing Gizmo. I see it under I flip it. Not for germs though. It is just easier to use over than under. Why do I want to reach up and under when it can be right there on top. I would say most people in the USA place TP over. And standard placement in US Army Boot camp is over also.

yeh, it just irritates me when it's down; other than being a slight germaphobe in places other than my own dwelling (I can't use public restrooms, i get sick to my stomach; I can bairly use a "friends" toilet, even if it's screaming to get out)... just seeing that the TP is rubbing up against their dirty assed walls makes me think of people pissing all over the toilet seat in a public restroom then i wanna puke...
