acutally gorerotted isnt black metal more of a mix between gore metal and thrash death metal. the rest are black metal though.

oh, and thats not the only music i listen too or anythimg, thats just the music i like killing too. heh

I will boycott any game that plays death metal. That is the suckiest flavor of metal I've ever accidentally listened to.

hahaha... metal is ok. sometimes it is just people screaming to a beat, that isn't so cool. but you do get some pretty decent songs sometimes. slipknot, even though they're from iowa like me, suck ass! i'll listen to 'em if i'm pissed or if jonathon is listening to 'em. but they really annoy most times. of course, rap is just some guy making up words to rhyme with his other made up words such as beyatch and shizznit. so yeah.. rap sucks. but then some arseholes try to comibine rap and roll and it turns into something completely disgusting like limp bizkit. arghhh...no, i mostly stick to the good shit. ya know, nin depeche mode.. stuff like that. as you all know, i really dig the 80s tunes. say what you will, but some of those songs are so fucking good!!

for sure there's a lot of good metal. death metal is what fits the full bill when people stereotype metal as a bunch of noise and screaming.

well, i prefer black metal. i dont know if any of you are familiar with it, but good black metal is quite far from death metal. very melodi, extremely instrumental, songs actually have a point, etc.

hey every genre of music has a few good songs(cept rap...sry) but we are talking about music to frag to and while i myself preffer hard rock, oldies, and metal anyway...i have frends who listen to punk and there is no way you could fight to that and metallica while many people think metal is just people screaming to a beat metallica's best songs are the ones that have very little voice to them(most of their songs) Slipknot on the other hand...does scream(which again i dont mind) just gotta be willing to explore

what the hell is black metal? seriously.. what bands are considered black metal?? i've never heard of it before.. kinda interested!

Emperor is one of the biggest. they are very melodic, use a lot of synthe's, intricate guitar and bass lines, very very fast drumming. then theres bands like marduk who are very fast, some intricate guitar/bass lines, and fast drumming. they arnt as melodic, but still are. limbonic art is melodic, tidfall kinda melodic and have techno in their music. heh, i could go on and on

wow. i haven't heard of any of them! i suppose i'll have to give 'em a listen though. i love those synth bands! hehehe. ohh.. a really good band that i dig is Einsturzende Nuebauten. they are real industrial... kinda interesting. throbbing gristle is good too. i just love those european bands from the 80s! weeeehooo!
