Well, it'd seem that our IRC Server benefactor (Phatal) neglected to update the creditcard number on our shell purchase, so the shells are currently down until further notice.

Since we have a redundant connection, you can connect to the ircd on irc.undergroundnews.com or directly at irc2.undergroundnews.net. Please note that both IRC1 and IRC4 are down and that you cannot connect to them directly (hi unreal).

Both SSL and Services are on the new server, however I don't have a current backup of the databases so some channels and nicks will be unregistered.

If your DNS provider has not updated the DNS records for the IRC server you can connect directly as (Yes, IRC3 has always been forwarded to my home machine):
SSL: /connect irc2.undergroundnews.net:+6666
Non-SSL: /connect irc2.undergroundnews.net:6667
