The Microsoft Corp. has announced it is almost ready to release the latest version of its customer-relationship management software, CRM 3.0. The software will be released as early as next month, months before its initial scheduled release.

A marketing-automation feature has been added to the software, and the kit now comes with tighter integration with Outlook and Office. It also has new configuration, integration capability and customisation.

Microsoft's CRM general manager, Brad Wilson, said: "We now have a complete CRM suite." An independent analyst said that "Microsoft has made a number of fixes to the previous version of their CRM software..."
