Stuff Magazine has announced its predictions for the top ten gadgets that gadget geeks will have to have in 2005. Topping the list is the Sony PlayStation Portable, knocking Apple’s iPod into second place.
To own all ten gadgets on Stuff’s Top Ten Essentials list will set the buyer back £7,455, £1,000 less than last year’s top ten. Stuff put the lower cost down to falling manufacturing costs which are making gadgets more affordable.
The Essentials list is dominated by portable gadgets, including Sharp's 902 3G mobile phone which comes in third. Editor of Stuff Essentials Adam Vaughn said: "What this…shows is that gadgets are now cheaper, sexier and more indispensable than ever.” Source
