UGN Security Forums UGN Security: Underground General I want to learn about compression

Okay here I am a complete n00b. I want to study and learn about compression algaryhm's and how one might create one. I should probably do a google search, but I have wrote more tuts in this place and RRFN so fuk dat! Looking for links and leads. I will work for this knowledge, but just need a good easy starting point. Any help?

Be warned, a lot of hosts don't like users using compression on their webpages (as cpu time in exchange for web loading time isn't the best in that biz)..
